An extrovert, with enticing plum, anise and blackberry fruit and a long, supple finish. There's plenty of stuffing and grip, but this is velvety and nicely assimilated, with plenty in reserve. Score range: 92-95
Drinking Window: 2020 - 2035
This is super powerful, with amazing density and richness. Goes on for minutes. Full, yet reserved and focused. Best ever.

92-94 Ripe, juicy aromas, a wine that then offers sweet fruit, great flavors, a ripe wine with blackberry flavors and balanced tannins.

Deep garnet colored, the 2010 La Dominique is scented of pencil lead, menthol and leather with a core of black cherry compote, stewed plums and dried mulberries. Medium to full-bodied, it has a sturdy frame of firm, chewy tannins and lively acid supporting the muscular fruit, finishing on a lingering mineral note.

Deep ruby-purple. Syrupy blackberry, red cherry and Oriental spices on the nose. Then surprisingly fresh and juicy in the mouth, offering dense flavors of black and red fruits, oaky torrefaction and herbs. Finishes with noteworthy length, noble tannins and a trace of heat.
