McWilliam's Mount Pleasant Lovedale Semillon 2009 (6x75cl)
McWilliam's Mount Pleasant Lovedale Semillon 2009 (6x75cl)
The 2009 Lovedale Semillon provides intense lime juice and lime leaf aromas with a muted undercurrent of lemongrass, chalk and orange blossom. Very crisp on the palate with nice nervy intensity though youthfully tight / closed. Minerally with a long citrusy finish. Drink 2012 to 2022.

One of Australia's best-known names in wine, McWilliam's is far more than just another large, corporate producer making vast quantities of wine. It is also a remarkable patron of Australia's true, boutique wine heritage, buying up wineries that otherwise would have fallen out of business and allowed them to continue on as they had before. The case in point is Mount Pleasant which has been producing exceptional wines since 1921. Nowadays, from the flagship wines through to the popular family collection, Mount Pleasant’s award winning wines are globally renowned for their consistency and outstanding quality – particularly their exceptional long-lived Semillons.
