Opaque ruby. Intensely perfumed cherry and dark berry aromas are complicated by suggestions of black pepper, incense, licorice and Moroccan spices. Subtly chewy, broad and alluringly sweet, offering densely packed blackberry, bitter cherry, fruitcake, lavender and cola flavors and a spicy nuance that builds with aeration. The extremely long, floral- and spice-driven finish shows outstanding clarity and suave, harmonious tannins and closing grip.
