Wine Advocate (98+)Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2012 Shiraz The Armagh offers a gorgeous perfume of baking spices, violets, Sichuan pepper and fragrant earth. More earthy and savory in the mouth than on the nose, the palate is superbly structured and taut—built for the long-haul—with a long, complex finish. Still very youthfully, forget this wine for 3-5 more years and consider drinking it over the next 20+. |

Wine Advocate (97)The 2005 Shiraz “Attunga 1865” is sourced from ungrafted vines planted in the Clare Valley in 1865. It spent 25 months in 100% new French oak hogsheads and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Opaque purple/black, it reveals an ethereal bouquet of crushed rocks, acacia flowers, espresso, mocha, black cherry, and blackberry. This leads to a powerful, intense, yet elegant wine with a very long, seamless finish. This beautifully balanced effort will excite tasters over the next 25 years. Kilikanoon’s winemaker is the talented Kevin Mitchell. The house specialty is Shiraz but Mitchell does equally well with Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache. |

Experience the exquisite taste of the Philippe Pacalet Moulin A Vent 2020. This notable wine is created by Philippe Pacalet, a renowned natural wine producer in the heart of Burgundy. Continuing an impressive family lineage of expert winemakers, Pacalet's approach exemplifies traditional methods, blending them seamlessly with biodynamic ideologies. His work reflects respect for the terroir and the essence of the grape, refusing the use of artificial chemicals. Sourced from the Moulin a Vent appellation in Beaujolais, the Gamay grapes undergo a unique process of carbonic maceration. This particular wine showcases Pacalet's remarkable talent in capturing the luscious fruit essence and superb minerality. Each bottle of Philippe Pacalet Moulin A Vent 2020 offers a brilliant ruby hue, captivating aromas of red fruit and an unusually expressive palate. Its elegant tannic presence and reverberating acidity give it a balanced and exciting structure, a true representation of Pacalet's mastery and reverence for nature. |

Wine Advocate (95)The 2017 Moulin-à-Vent Les Trois Roches is superb—and likely the king of the cellar chez Chermette this year—wafting from the glass with a beautiful bouquet of raspberries, potpourri, orange rind and rose petal. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, layered and supple, with the most depth and amplitude of any wine in the portfolio and the most held in reserve, too. This is a fantastic expression of Moulin-à-Vent from one of Beaujolais’s greatest winemakers, and it comes warmly recommended. |

Vinous (96)Opaque ruby. Intensely perfumed cherry and dark berry aromas are complicated by suggestions of black pepper, incense, licorice and Moroccan spices. Subtly chewy, broad and alluringly sweet, offering densely packed blackberry, bitter cherry, fruitcake, lavender and cola flavors and a spicy nuance that builds with aeration. The extremely long, floral- and spice-driven finish shows outstanding clarity and suave, harmonious tannins and closing grip. |
