(6x75cl) 2022Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (93-95)
Some light green reflections in the primrose yellow colour. A stricter nose, perhaps a touch of sulphur. This may also appear more backward coming after the Charmes. Then a vast wealth of fruit on the palate and now we see the real wine. It maintains the herbal note I associate with Genevrières, alongside golden fruit at a perfect degree of ripeness. The fruit and the acidity weave in and out of each other. I would not want the fruit to be riper but it is full of charm as it stands, and kept in place by the precision of the structure. Very fine. Drink from 2029-2037.HK$4,095.00 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (90-92)
Mid lemon yellow. The bouquet has a little softer orchard fruit compared to the Bourgogne, and is very true to its Meursault roots. The white fruit continues on the palate and is now joined by a saline note, while the ripe apples give an immediate appeal. There are little waves of flavour towards the back of the palate. Once again the aftertaste is fine, precise and thoroughly promising. Drink from 2027-2032.HK$3,505.00 -
(3x75cl) 2022Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (96-99)
A rich purple in colour. The bouquet does not deliver much as yet but the fruit is so seductive at the front of the palate, though still very unresolved further back with fresher tannins which still need time to integrate. I expect the 2022 Chambertin to have excellent keeping qualities. Drink from 2035-2045+. Tasted: November 2023.HK$20,900.00 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (91-93)
A fine mid ruby colour. The bouquet has both charm and density in a very happy balance. A lovely aftertaste of soft strawberry and fresh raspberry, the graceful side of Pommard with the tannins nicely covered. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted: November 2023.HK$5,275.00 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (91-93)
(5 Star Wine) Not too deep in colour, with rather a stylish perfumed raspberry fruit. Light fresh acidity, behind the beautifully balanced fruit, a few tannins too, but the fruit stretches out wonderfully behind them. The benefit of ancient vines is clear to see. Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted: November 2023.HK$8,800.00 -
Burghound (91)
(violet; from 9 different lieux-dits). A perfumed and more elegant and slightly cooler nose reflects spicy red cherry aromas that are liberally laced with a plethora of floral nuances. The innate refinement of Chambolle is very much on display with the punchy middle weight flavors that exude a subtle bead of minerality on the balanced and moderately austere finale where a hint of bitter pit fruit character slowly emerges. This is also an excellent villages and warmly recommended.HK$4,190.00 -

The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Sous le Dos d'Ane exhibits aromas of pear, white flowers, freshly baked bread and stuck match, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and racy palate that's pure and precise, concluding with a chalky finish. As readers may remember, this parcel, formerly planted to red, abuts Pierre Morey's Meursault Perrières, and the soils are very stony.HK$15,935.00 -
