Margaux
Margaux, the largest AOC in Médoc, is a significant wine appellation in Bordeaux with 20 Cru Classé properties from the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, more than any other Left Bank AOCs. The region is home to the world-renowned Château Margaux, along with other blue-chip wineries like Château Palmer and Château Rauzan Ségla. Margaux's soils have a high gravel content, offering excellent drainage and low nutrient levels compared to Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe. This unique terroir produces refined and elegant wines that are distinct from other regions of Bordeaux.
We are proud to offer a diverse selection of Margaux wines, each with its own unique character and flavor profile. From the rich and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon blends to the silky and smooth Merlot-dominant wines, our Margaux wines are crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. Experience the elegance and refinement of Margaux wines today. Browse our selection and discover why Margaux is considered one of the greatest wine appellations in the world.

The 2023 Marquis de Terme is every bit as impressive as it was en primeur. Rich and explosive, the 2023 offers up a heady mix of dark red fruit, blood orange, incense, cinnamon and pomegranate. The stylistic direction here over the last few years has been quite positive.HK$1,715.00 -

Gorgeous aromas of blackberries, spices and minerals follow through to a full-bodied palate, with silky tannins and a long, long finish. Supersurprising. Best in decades. Score range: 92-94HK$4,235.00 -
(12x75cl) 2009Vinous - Ian D'Agata (88-91)
Purple ruby. Open, aromatic nose is loaded with ripe red and black cherry aromas. Rich, lush and sweet, with noteworthy depth to the flavors of dark fruits, smoke and chocolate. Sexy, broad and aromatic in the middle palate, and long on the aftertaste, but this complex, very deep wine's youthfully chewy tannins call for a good decade of cellaring. This will probably be best between 2020 and 2035.HK$6,250.00 -
(12x75cl) 2012Wine Advocate (85)
Tasted blind at the Southwold 2012 tasting, the 2012 Monbrison had a light and slightly steely bouquet that nevertheless had satisfactory definition and freshness. Hopefully it will develop more fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, easy-drinking in style with a carefree, brambly finish that you could argue ought to show more ambition. Drink over the next 4-6 years. Tasted January 2016.HK$4,435.00 -

The 2015 Château Monbrison is a smokin’ good Margaux to seek out. With a deep ruby/purple color and terrific notes of caramelized cherries, currants, bay leaf, and toasty oak, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, fine, polished tannin, plenty of freshness, and a rich, yet undeniably elegant personality. Give bottles 2-3 years and enjoy over the following two decades.HK$3,260.00 -
Vinous - Antonio Galloni (89-92)
The 2016 Monbrison is delicious. Aromatic, pliant and impeccably balanced, the wine is quite harmonious from the first taste. There is lovely depth and purity throughout. Sweet tobacco, herbs, mint and licorice add aromatic nuance to the racy red fruit. I imagine the 2016 will drink well with minimal cellaring.HK$3,665.00 -
(12x75cl) 2017Vinous - Antonio Galloni (88-90)
The 2017 Monbrison comes across as a bit compact today. There is good persistence, but the mid-palate is a bit lean. It will be interesting to see if the 2017 fleshes out a bit. The red berry and floral flavors are attractive.HK$3,515.00 -
