Margaux
Margaux, the largest AOC in Médoc, is a significant wine appellation in Bordeaux with 20 Cru Classé properties from the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, more than any other Left Bank AOCs. The region is home to the world-renowned Château Margaux, along with other blue-chip wineries like Château Palmer and Château Rauzan Ségla. Margaux's soils have a high gravel content, offering excellent drainage and low nutrient levels compared to Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe. This unique terroir produces refined and elegant wines that are distinct from other regions of Bordeaux.

Loganberry, raspberry, tobacco leaf, peony, mint leaf, the tannins are finessed and finely spun, tracing the outline of the fruit but not constricting it in any way. Waves of aromatics through the palate keep you hooked, this is nuanced, elegant, moreish, with so much Margaux appellation charater, and a juicy finish.
