This is a traditional red with strawberry leaves, lemon rind and wet earth. Very aromatic. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a fruity, chocolate and walnut character. Always refined yet powerful. Better in 2022.HK$3,530.00 -

The 2015 Latour à Pomerol is fabulous. Super-ripe red cherry, mint, crushed herbs, licorice and tobacco are all woven together in a fabric of pure and total class as this powerful, explosive Pomerol shows off its arresting beauty. As gorgeous as the 2015 is today, it also is going to need at least a number of years in bottle to be at its very best. The fusion of power and sensuality makes for a compelling Pomerol that is going to drink well for several decades. The 2015 has much to say, all it needs is time.HK$7,730.00 -

The 2017 Latour à Pomerol is a gorgeous wine that is at once deep and yet also super-expressive in its bouquet. Sweet tobacco, dried herbs, mint, pepper and spice give the 2017 striking aromatic presence to play off a core of ripe red cherry fruit. Medium in body yet wonderfully deep and fleshy, the 2017 has so much to offer. I like it as much from bottle as I did from barrel.HK$3,530.00 -

Decanter (95)
Wonderfully evocative nose, rich and vibrant, floral and perfumed alongside red fruits with a tiny touch of wood spice. Rich but dark and cooling, a brooding and bewitching style with liquorice-laced fruit and firm tannins. Serious, mouth filling, concentrated and rich but well delivered. There is a clarity to the fruit but this is all muscle and sinew at the moment. Lovely but tight and tense, so focussed with a hint of crushed stone and mint on the finish. A characterful style.HK$4,240.00 -
(6x75cl) 2020Vinous - Neal Martin (93)
The 2020 Latour à Pomerol has retained a very similar bouquet to the one that I encountered from barrel with blackberry, loam and pencil box scents, perhaps one of the most Médocian noses that I have observed in this Pomerol even though paradoxically it is 100% Merlot! The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. Fine build though it remains compact and linear, finally fanning out in its final third. There is a touch of chewiness just on the finish, but I feel this is developing the substance and structure for long-term ageing.HK$4,480.00 -

Wine Advocate (92)
A terrific success from the well-known estate of Bordeaux’s famed oenologists Dany and Michel Rolland, the 2001 Bon Pasteur is a super effort for the vintage. Deep plum/purple to the rim, with a sumptuous nose of barbecue spices, smoke, black cherries, mocha, and spice box, this opulent, medium to full-bodied, rich red reveals amazing extract and intensity for a wine from this vintage. Its structure and size suggests 2-3 years of cellaring is warranted. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2017. Bravo!HK$9,075.00 -
Wine Advocate (95)
A beautiful wine from Dany and Michel Rolland, this 2005 is surprisingly concentrated and powerful – more so than usual. Deep ruby/purple, with plenty of black cherry and cassis fruit, licorice and a touch of caramel, this wine is still full, youthful, and set for another 15-20 years of longevity. This is a beauty and one of their strongest efforts in the first decade of the 21st century. For a terroir considered well below Pomerol’s superstars, this wine is a major overachiever.HK$10,700.00 -
