The palate is medium-bodied with grippy, dry tannins. Quite bold and forthright, it has a voluminous finish but comes across just a little raw at the end. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, rose petal, licorice and spice add to the wine's racy, super-ripe profile. I find the 2018 just a touch on the heavy side. The 2018 La Fleur de Boüard is very well defined on the nose, gorgeous scents of blackberry, blueberry, violet and potpourri bursting from the glass but retaining fine delineation and focus. The palate is crisp on the entry, with graphite-tinged black fruit framed by fine tannins and a structured, tensile finish. This is one of the best La Fleur de Boüard vintages that I have encountered. Excellent.HK$2,335.00
