(Don't Miss! Outstanding) Once again, the nose is wonderfully spicy with its very Vosne aromas of anise, clove, soy, hoisin and sandalwood wisps that add serious breadth to the ripe and liqueur-like black fruit scents. The lavishly rich and opulent larger-scaled flavors coat the palate with an abundance of dry extract that gives the mouthfeel an almost viscous feel, all wrapped in a moderately powerful, serious and hugely long finish. This is a flat out exceptional Suchots and worth a special effort to find.HK$7,135.00 -

Medium red. Aromas of raspberry, chocolate, licorice, flowers and earth. Supple and fresh but a bit lean and dry, with a slightly medicinal quality. I get a slight greenness here. But certainly juicy for the year.HK$40,335.00 -
(6x75cl) 2005Vinous (91)
Good deep red. Aromas of dark raspberry, blood orange and spicy oak. Dense, supple and sappy, with terrific stuffing and structure for a village wine. Finishes impressively long and sweet, with dusty, ripe tannins. An uncommonly good village wine.HK$23,920.00 -
Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (87-89)
Bright medium ruby. Dark berries and flowers on the nose. Supple and silky in the style of the year, with fine-grained berry and mineral flavors lifted by a floral component. Finishes with good spine and perfume.HK$2,545.00 -
(12x75cl) 2009Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (87-90)
Deep red with ruby highlights. Deeper aromas of crushed black fruits, violet and minerals. Dense and concentrated but quite primary today, even a bit youthfully brutal, with blackberry and black raspberry fruit flavors supported by firm structure. Finishes with serious tannic spine.HK$46,655.00 -

The 2011 Vosne-Romanée Village has a smooth and sensual bouquet that obliges coaxing from the glass, eventually revealing scents of crushed red cherry, strawberry and pressed white flowers. The aromatics feel cohesive and effortlessly bound together by the conspicuous oak. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, smooth and silky with ample red berry fruit and well-judged acidity. There is nothing pretentious about this Vosne-Romanée - just a really beautiful wine from Sébastien Cathiard. Tasted at Flint Wines Burgundy 2011 tasting.HK$3,545.00 -
(3x75cl) 2012Vinous (90-92)
The 2012 Vosne-Romanée is beautifully lifted and precise in the glass. Sweet red berries, rose petals, mint and spices are some of the many notes that inform this drop-dead gorgeous, racy village-level Vosne. There is a sense of purity and precision in the 2012 that is impossible to miss. What a pretty wine this is.HK$9,415.00 -

(3x75cl) 2015Wine Advocate (89-91)
The 2015 Vosne-Romanée, matured in 50% new oak, finished its malolactic in October. It has a perfumed, quite floral bouquet, a mixture of blackberry and blueberry fruit with just a hint of crushed violet. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, a subtle marine influence with a touch of sea salt on the vibrant finish. I expect this will land at the top of my banded score once in bottle.HK$8,145.00 -
Vinous (90)
The 2016 Vosne-Romanée Village has an exquisite, pure red cherry and wild strawberry scented bouquet. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin, slightly confit in style, hints of blood orange and vanilla towards the enticing finish. Excellent, but very seductive. Tasted at the Domaine.HK$12,865.00 -
Vinous (90)
The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village is quite closed on the nose but eventually delivers attractive blackberry, briar and crushed stone aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins, and quite dense for a Village Cru, leading into a sappy, quite serious finish. It will need 3–5 years in bottle.HK$1,860.00 -
Vinous (89-91)
The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village, raised in around 25% new oak, has a very intense bouquet of black cherries and light iodine aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit tinged with graphite, leading to a precise finish that does not outstay its welcome. Very fine, but it will require three or four years in bottle.HK$1,660.00 -

The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village offers slightly meaty red fruit comingling with scorched earth and tobacco. The palate is marked by fine-grain tannins, but this is very fresh with orange rind decorating its surprisingly structured on the finish. Very fine.HK$10,415.00 -
Vinous (88-90)
The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village, the usual five parcels from four climats, was showing just a light reduction on the nose that made it difficult to read. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, nicely structured (almost Morey-like) with white pepper and sous-bois towards the finish. Not bad, though it needs just a little more clarity.HK$1,585.00 -

The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Village was showing a bit of reduction on the nose that made it difficult to read. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, gentle grip, quite tensile with an insistent grip. I appreciate the balance and poise here. A countervailing bitter note lends tension from start to finish. Very fine.HK$2,820.00 -

A pretty crimson to ruby, no reduction here, just an elegant level of ripe fruit. Only on the palate do the darker berries emerge and there remains quite a firm level of tannins, before the fruit returns gaily. A lot to like here.HK$9,852.18 -
