Vinous (93-95)
The 2021 Echézeaux du Dessus Grand Cru, which contains 10% whole bunches, offers impressive presence on the nose, incense permeating the red berry fruit, wonderful delineation and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with a lightly spiced, blood orange infused entry, touches of white pepper and even ginger towards the persistent finish. This will need a little time to cohere but there is clearly immense potential.HK$11,420.00 -
(3x75cl) 2022Decanter (97)
This seductive wine appeals along the same lines as the Beaumonts, yet there is more of everything – more lush, dark blackberry and plum fruit, more liquorice spice on the attack, and more density and tannic grip on the palate. The texture is velvety and dense, yet there is also great finesse and a concentrated, focused finish. The grapes come from two biodynamically farmed parcels in Echézeaux du Dessus. This wine should open relatively young and drink well for two decades or more. This is a magnificent wine in a great vintage.HK$42,400.00 -

(1x75cl) 2012Vinous (89-91)
One of the more aromatic and savory wines in the range, the 2012 Morey-Saint-Denis Tres Girard is exotic and very nicely layered throughout. Dark spices, dried herbs and dark fruit meld together in a Burgundy with tons of medium-term appeal. This is another serious village level wine from Cécile Tremblay. The style is built on intensity and power, both of which will be slightly tamed with further aging.HK$3,635.00 -
(1x75cl) 2013Wine Advocate (89-91)
The 2013 Morey Saint Denis les Tres Girard has an enticing bouquet that is very well defined: blackberry, flint and wet rocks – like the Bourgogne Rouge expressing the mineral core over the fruit. The palate is underpinned by fine tannins, quite reserved for a Morey Saint Denis but with fine tension and mineral notes toward the finish.HK$3,585.00 -
(2x75cl) 2014Vinous (87-90)
Good dark red. Classic Morey aromas of black raspberry, spices, mocha and bitter chocolate. Dense, supple and slightly saline, conveying lovely vinosity and perfume to its black raspberry and spice flavors. Nicely pure village wine with supple tannins and good length. I like the balance of salinity and fruit.HK$7,285.00 -
(12x75cl) 2016Vinous (87-89)
(there was no frost here but production was barely 40 hectoliters per hectare due to the advanced age of the vines; the soil is mostly marl and limestone): Healthy dark red. Aromas of black raspberry, gunflinty minerality and flowers. Supple, savory and quite dry, offering youthfully linear flavors of dark berries, spices, licorice and herbs. Finishes with a firm tannic spine and good length and lift. Avoids hardness even today but this wine still needs to expand during its final months of élevage.HK$42,200.00 -

The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard has a perfumed blackberry, cranberry and briar bouquet that you might describe as très Morey. The palate is fresh and bright with crunchy black fruit; a light black olive influence develops with aeration. There is 40% whole bunches here, lending the finish a subtle earthiness and a little more persistence. Very promising.HK$41,255.00 -

The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard, containing 20–30% whole bunch, has a soft and gentle bouquet of black currant, red plum and crushed stone aromas that needs a little coaxing from the glass. Vinous (90-93)
(Tremblay took over these 15-year-old vines in 2009; not destined for the U.S. market): Dark red. Sappy nose combines minerals, flowers and earth; I would have picked it blind as Vosne-Romanee. Then juicy and spicy on the palate, offering black raspberry and brown spice flavors lifted by minerals. Nice density without weight here, and very bright on the long, juicy finish. Sexy juice.HK$51,995.00 -
