The palate is well balanced with pure fruit –passion fruit, tinned pineapple chunks – and a touch of spice and crushed stone toward the finish, which has plenty of extract. There is a sense of fun about this Chassagne that will make it tempting in its youth, but I suspect that its more intellectual side will only be revealed with bottle age. |
