The 2023 Le Clarence de Haut-Brion is quite the powerhouse. Ample and potent to the core, Le Clarence is a standout. Black cherry fruit, mocha, gravel, incense, licorice and chocolate fill out the wine's ample, full-bodied frame. Even with all of its natural intensity, Le Clarence is quite polished in its tannin profile.HK$1,445.00 -

The 2016 Clémentin de Pape Clément is a gracious red, but also a bit light and ethereal. I would prefer to drink it over the next few years, while the wine retains its attractive, perfumed personality.HK$2,235.00 -

Moving to the reds, the 2019 Clementin De Pape Clement sports a deeper ruby/plum color as well as solid Graves character in its notes of smoky tobacco, chocolate, earth, and both red and black fruits. Nicely textured, medium to full-bodied, and bringing plenty of fruit and texture, it's well worth seeking out, and I'd happily drink a bottle any time over the coming 10-12 years, if not longer.HK$1,205.00 -
(6x75cl) 2021Vinous - Antonio Galloni (90-92)
The 2021 Le Clémentin de Pape Clément is terrific. Silky tannins and bright, effusive aromatics grace this mid-weight second wine from the château. Hints of spice, gravel, tar, mocha, torrefaction and incense add layers of nuance, but the Clementin is a wine to appreciate for its charming, up-front personality. The 2021 is beautifully done. Tasted three times.HK$1,550.00 -
