The medium-bodied palate offers sappy red fruit and gentle grip in the mouth. Quite structured for a Les Suchots, with a stunning, lightly spiced, energetic finish that has more vivacity than it knows what to do with. Fabulous. |

Outstanding) Once again, the nose is wonderfully spicy with its very Vosne aromas of anise, clove, soy, hoisin and sandalwood wisps that add serious breadth to the ripe and liqueur-like black fruit scents. The lavishly rich and opulent larger-scaled flavors coat the palate with an abundance of dry extract that gives the mouthfeel an almost viscous feel, all wrapped in a moderately powerful, serious and hugely long finish. This is a flat out exceptional Suchots and worth a special effort to find. |
