Made from a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Sauvignon Gris and 5% Sémillion, the 2010 has 'fabulous aromatics' (DC) and a broad, elegant and full bodied palate with evolving notes of white peach, pear, caramelized citrus, mandarin oranges, smoky figs and hazelnuts. The oak has developed 'into really complex flavours' with the acidity still providing 'terrific freshness' (Jancis Robinson MW).

Offered today at the global lowest price of £515 per case IB, the Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc 2010 is a 'superb white Graves' (WA) and, notably, is produced on a much smaller scale than the estate's flagship red. With just 2,500 cases made, a tiny number in the context of Bordeaux, older vintages than the 2010 are scarce on the market so secure yours while you can.
