Jean Fournier Marsannay 2022s
Domaine Jean Fournier is the undisputed standard bearer in Marsannay, leading the appellation's resurgence in recent years. With roots dating back to the 17th century, this estate holds an extensive portfolio of Marsannay wines, making them a true representation of the appellation.
Laurent Fournier, the current owner and winemaker, is a young and energetic force with a passion for winemaking. He adapts different approaches for each cuvée, adjusting the amount of whole cluster, new oak, and barrel size based on what he believes is best for the wine. He is also an active ambassador in the region, advocating for the establishment of Premier Crus in Marsannay.
In the midst of a fabulous 2022 vintage, Jean Fournier's wines certainly do not disappoint. In fact, the entire Marsannay range from the estate received high scores in Neal Martin's Vinous report. And at an incredible price starting from just S$315 per case IB, these wines offer exceptional value and quality.
We are proud to offer a boutique range of Marsannay wines from Jean Fournier, featuring some of the most notable vineyards in the appellation. Les Longeroies, influenced by the largest combe in Marsannay, is an intense and refreshing red, while Clos du Roy, the east-facing and northernmost village vineyard in Marsannay, boasts lovely minerality and excellent structure.
