  • Burguet Bourgogne Le Pince Vin 2020 (12x75cl)

Emanating from the heart of France's Burgundy region, the Burguet Bourgogne Le Pince Vin 2020 is an exceptional embodiment of artisan winemaking. This distinguished vintage, crafted by Domaine Alain Burguet, a renowned family-owned winery established in 1974, evokes the idyllic terroir of their Gevrey-Chambertin vineyards in every sip.

Harvested from 35-year-old vines, this exquisite Pinot Noir offers a stunning balance of concentrated fruit flavours and rich minerality, demonstrating Burguet's commitment to organic viticulture and hands-on methods. The palate is graced by luscious notes of ripe red cherries, mingled with subtle hints of spice and earthiness, elegantly layered amidst soft tannins. Aged in oak barrels for approximately 18 months, the Burguet Bourgogne Le Pince Vin 2020 is a true testament to the winery's meticulous approach to producing wines of distinction and depth.

A bottle of Burguet Bourgogne Le Pince Vin 2020 is more than just wine - it is an immersive journey into Burgundy's illustrious vinicultural tradition.

  • Burguet Bourgogne Le Pince Vin 2021 (12x75cl)

    Vinous (88)

The 2021 Bourgogne Les Pince Vin is lovely. Bright acids give this aromatic, soft Bourgogne terrific energy to complement its soft, open-knit personality. Bright, red-toned fruit, tobacco, cedar and crushed flowers all grace this nuanced, inviting 2021. All the elements are very nicely balanced. - Antonio Galloni

  • Burlotto Barbera d'Alba 2021 (6x75cl)

    Jeb Dunnuck (91)

From Verduno and Roddi and aged only in large cask to keep the freshness of the Barbera, the 2021 Barbera D'Alba is charming, with a sweet perfume of candied flowers and blackberries. Medium-bodied, with a silky texture, ripe plum fruit, and fresh acidity, it also has a great finish. Balanced and harmonious, this is a lovely Barbera – I would drink this.
  • Burlotto Barbera d'Alba 2022 (6x75cl)

    Jeb Dunnuck (91)

A bright but slightly deeper ruby color, the 2022 Barbera D'Alba is lifted with peppery freshness and crisp red and black berries. Offering a snappy nature and good structure, it takes things up a notch in overall quality and can stand up to a variety of cuisines. With its crunchy fruit and fresh structure, I love where this is now, and it’s going to be very nice over the next several years as well.
  • Burlotto Barbera d'Alba Aves 2019 (6x75cl)
  • Burlotto Barbera d'Alba Aves 2021 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (93)

The 2021 Barbera d'Alba Aves is a selection of the estate's best Barbera. A wine of gravitas and tension, the Aves is lights-out in 2021. There's plenty of the depth of past editions, but less overt concentration and oak imprint than in the past. In the last few years, Fabio Alessandria has dialed back some of the textural intensity in this wine in favor of greater freshness. The result is a striking Barbera that is also more in line with the rest of the wines in the range.

  • Burlotto Barolo 2017 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (91)

The 2017 Barolo is gorgeous. Beautifully perfumed and lifted, the 2017 is pure class. Sweet red berry fruit, crushed flowers, mint, spice and orange peel are all nicely lifted in this silky, mid-weight Barolo. Drink it over the next decade. The is a blend from Breri, Rocche dell' Olmo and Neirane, with a bit less Breri than normal, because the lower portions of the vineyard were affected by frost.

  • Burlotto Barolo 2018 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (89)

The 2018 Barolo is aromatic, gracious and light on its feet. Sweet dark cherry, lavender, rose petal, mint, spice and sage are nicely delineated in this ethereal, gracious Barolo. Drink it over the next decade or so. The classico is built on a core of Breri, plus pieces of the other sites that don't make it into the Acclivi.

  • Burlotto Barolo 2019 (6x75cl)

    Jeb Dunnuck (93)

From a parcel bordering Monvigliero, the 2019 Barolo is a pale ruby and reveals a lifted perfume of fresh berries and orange zest. Linear and vibrant, with fresh pomegranate, citrus, and dusty earth, it is racy and fresh, with a savory finish. Drink 2024-2034.

  • Burlotto Barolo 2020 (6x75cl)

    Jeb Dunnuck (93)

Medium red in color, the 2020 Barolo is inviting and fruity. Its characteristic elegant profile features notes of pristinely preserved strawberries, candied roses, apricot, and sweet tea. Medium-bodied and fresh, with delicate, sweet fruit floating through the palate, it has ultra-fine tannins, and a clean, long finish. It’s easy to love this now, and it will have a wide open window for enjoyment over the next 5-7 years.

  • Burlotto Barolo Acclivi 2013 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (94)

The 2013 Barolo Acclivi is another knockout from Burlotto. The Acclivi shows slightly red and purplish hued fruits, with lavender, mint, violet and spice that develop in the glass. The 2013 is naturally very tightly wound, but it offers superb freshness, along with a striking interplay of pliant fruit, lifted, floral-infused aromatics, and an acid/tannin profile that adds brightness throughout. Readers will have to be patient, but there is no rush. This is a fabulous Barolo in the making.

  • Burlotto Barolo Acclivi 2015 (3x75cl)

    Wine Advocate (95)

The 2015 Barolo Acclivi represents a blend of Nebbiolo from various hilltop sites in Verduno that have been selected for the quality of their fruit. The wine takes the concept of a Barolo "base" up one notch, because it represents a special selection of fruit that is not limited to a single parcel. This expression is grounded and even a bit heavier at its core, with more dark fruit and thickness that becomes its defining characteristic. This is especially true in a vintage like 2015 that already starts off with robust and sun-darkened fruit. The wine is not necessarily more accessible—because it is not—but it does offer a thicker caliber of Nebbiolo fruit.

An ample, expansive and broad wine of striking inner perfume and sweetness, the 2016 is flat-out stunning. Crushed raspberry, mint, spice and blood orange infuse the 2016 with incredible depth and complexity before it finishes with mind-blowing intensity. All I can say is: Wow!

  • Burlotto Barolo Acclivi 2017 (1x75cl)

    Vinous (93)

The 2017 Barolo Acclivi is rich, enveloping and so expressive. Black cherry, lavender, spice, menthol and licorice fill out the layers nicely. Medium in body, with soft contours for a young Barolo, the Acclivi is so expressive today, before it starts to shut down with air. That bodes very well for its future. As it has been for a number of years, the Acclivi is the hidden gem in this range. The 2017 is a blend of Monvigliero, Neirane and Rocche dell' Olmo, with less Monvigliero than normal because the younger vines went into the Langhe Nebbiolo, and a correspondingly higher presence of Rocche dell'Olmo.

  • Burlotto Barolo Cannubi 2006 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (93)

The 2006 Barolo Vigneto Cannubi impresses for its silky tannins and finessed, feminine personality, with more density and textural richness than the Monvigliero. Berries, crushed flowers and spices are some of the nuances that emerge from this finely-knit, classy Barolo. Despite being open and very pleasurable today, the Cannubi needs at least several years in bottle to develop the full range of its aromas and flavors. When that happens, this should be a totally sublime Barolo.

  • Burlotto Barolo Cannubi 2010 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (94)

The 2010 Barolo Cannubi is dense and compact at this stage, but then the sweet Cannubi tannins kick in. Sweet red berries, crushed flowers, mint and sweet spices wrap around the palate in a generous, textured wine endowed with tons of depth and class. This is a fairly powerful rendering of Cannubi. It will be interesting to see if the wine acquires finesse in bottle, or if it will always be a bit of a brute.
  • Burlotto Barolo Cannubi 2013 (1x75cl)

    Vinous (97+)

Burlotto’s 2013 Barolo Cannubi is a showstopper. Literally. Conversation stops as attendees taste the 2013. This is what top-flight Barolo is all about. In 2013, the Monvigliero has gotten most of the attention, and for good reason. It is a truly monumental wine. But the Cannubi is not that far behind. On this night, it is positively dazzling and every bit as profound as it has always been. The Cannubi has really soared in recent years as proprietor Fabio Alessandria has brought it inline stylistically with his other wines.

  • Burlotto Barolo Cannubi 2014 (6x75cl)

    Vinous (95+)

While Monvigliero gets most of the attention at Burlotto, the Cannubi is often nearly as compelling, and in 2014, it is perhaps a touch more complete. Mesmerizingly vivid and beautiful, the 2014 is deep, powerful and beautifully layered on the palate, with fabulous balance and irresistible allure. In this tasting, I find the Cannubi fleshier and more generous than the Monvigliero. In the cool vintage, the exposure and soils of Cannubi were probably a bit more favorable than those of Monvigliero. Incidentally, a recent bottle of the 2013 more than lived up to the lofty praise I bestowed upon it a year ago.

  • Burlotto Barolo Cannubi 2015 (1x75cl)

    Vinous (97)

The 2015 Barolo Cannubi is another dizzying wine from Burlotto. A rush of dark cherry, plum, hard candy licorice, violet and spice all hit the palate. Powerful and vertical in the glass, the Cannubi simply has it all. I would give the 2015 a good bit of time to shed some of its considerable baby fat. Powerful, dense and packed, the Cannubi is not as showy or seductive as the Monvigliero, but it has so much to offer, especially with a bit of bottle age. What a magnificent wine it is!
