The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Gruenchers 1er Cru has an expressive, floral bouquet of bunches of violet and iris dominating the fruit at the moment. The medium-bodied palate offers succulent ripe tannins. A very juicy and generous Gruenchers that disguises the structure toward the finish, which demonstrates fine edginess and details. This is very classy.HK$2,355.00 -

(1x75cl) 2018Vinous (89-91)
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a well-defined bouquet of black cherries, raspberry and touches of iodine, conveying the joie-de-vivre one expects from this appellation. The palate is well defined with a sharp citric edge, vibrant red berry fruit and a liberal sprinkling of white pepper toward the finish. This is a very fine Village Cru from Jean-Marie Fourrier.HK$1,185.00 -
(6x75cl) 2019Burghound (89-92)
(from Les Mombies and Les Herbues). A slightly riper liqueur-like nose features notes of black cherry and raspberry liqueur along with hints of violet and soft spice wisps. There is excellent energy to the beautifully detailed and lightly stony medium-bodied flavors that possess a beguiling texture while displaying fine depth and persistence. This is a terrific Chambolle villages that’s worth your interest. (89-92)/2026+HK$6,610.00 -
Vinous (89-91)
The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a flattering bouquet with violet and peony tinged black cherry fruit, well-defined and focused. The oak here is nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, quite granular in texture with a brisk, saline finish. Give this 2-4 years in bottle and it should turn into a fine Chambolle that will be hard to resist in its flush of youth.HK$6,650.00 -

Burghound (89-92)
Outstanding Top value. A completely different aromatic profile presents its notes of wild dark raspberry, violet, crushed fennel and a hint of exotic tea. The rich, concentrated and caressing middleweight flavors are at once seductive yet quite punchy while exuding a subtle minerality on the firm, complex and balanced finish. This is excellent.HK$6,460.00 -
Jancis Robinson (18)
Three casks from three different spots. Slightly cloudy cherry red. Really rich and solid. From a very good producer (a long-term proposition) and made in the domaine philosophy. Lots of tannin on the end. Very energetic. Very slightly bitter on the end.HK$14,090.00 -
(6x75cl) 2012Vinous (93-95)
Autumn leaves, tobacco, menthol and black cherries are supported by firm, incisive tannins in the 2012 Echezeaux. This is a decidedly powerful, structured Echezeaux built on serious power. Readers will have to give the 2012 at least a few years to settle down and fully come together.HK$19,520.00 -
Wine Advocate (90-92)
The 2013 Echézeaux Grand Cru (which comes from the lieu-dit of En Orveaux) has a slight reduction on the nose, but beneath lies fine redcurrant and iodine scents that should be quite intense once in bottle. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, fleshy tannins, crisp acidity and good density on the finish. This is a very fine Echézeaux in the making, though I suspect that the 2012 will be the one to seek out.HK$17,040.00 -
Wine Advocate (90-92+)
Bursting with expressive aromas of raspberries, candied peel, woodsmoke and forest floor, Jean-Marie Fourrier's 2017 Echézeaux Grand Cru is medium to full-bodied, ample and expansive, with broad shoulders, a fleshy core of fruit and firm but fine tannins that assert themselves on the youthfully chewy finish.HK$18,885.00 -
Vinous (93-95)
The 2018 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a decadent bouquet of red cherry and cranberry aromas, touches of pain d’épices and a hint of menthol emerging with time. But somehow it manages to retain control. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, slightly chalky tannins, good depth and a gentle grip toward the focused finish. This should age extremely well.HK$18,375.00 -

Vinous (94-96)
(Fourrier made this special cuvée by having ten harvesters pick fruit from the oldest vines with the tallest and biggest trunks from the middle to the top of the vineyard; just two barrels were made from very tiny berries that yielded the equivalent of less than 20 hectoliters per hectare): Healthy dark red. Brooding aromas of dark fruits, licorice and violet. Incredibly plush, sweet and thick but without any obvious weightiness. Explosive dark berry fruit is complicated and energized by saline minerality. Delivers an uncanny combination of lushness, cut and black-fruit intensity and finishes with outstanding palate-staining persistence. Fourrier was worried that if he made more than two barrels of this juice, he'd risk compromising his regular Clos Saint-Jacques. An extraordinary wine in the making.HK$25,820.00 -

(12x75cl) 2005Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (95)
Good deep red-ruby. The nose offers compelling perfume of raspberry, minerals, rose petal and smoke. Lush, silky and fine-grained, with impressively concentrated but very suave flavors of raspberry, minerals and flowers. Offers superb inner-mouth lift. Finishes very broad and long, with building but very refined tannins. Fourrier notes that even for this wine he uses just 20% new oak, as he likes to have a high percentage of used barrels to preserve CO2 levels in the wines. "Besides, it's really the village wines that need the support of new oak," he added.HK$119,225.00 -
(1x75cl) 2007Vinous (94)
Bright deep red with ruby highlights. Knockout nose combines dark raspberry, smoked meat, minerals and crushed rock. Tactile and chewy as a solid yet almost magically light on its feet, with terrific definition and lift to the palate-staining red berry, smoke and floral flavors. This superbly ripe wine boasts an outstanding core of dense, sappy fruit. Finishes with great length.HK$5,675.00 -
(3x75cl) 2010Vinous (94-96)
(a blend from the entire vineyard): Good bright dark red. Vibrant, high-pitched aromas of black raspberry, wild herbs, minerals and flowers. At once seamless and electric in the mouth, with terrific energy to the dark berry and crushed rock flavors. Offers uncanny palate-saturating thickness yet somehow comes across as weightless. Finishes with outstanding back-end lift and length.HK$17,730.00 -
(6x75cl) 2012Tim Atkin MW (97)
The most backward and powerful of the wines at Domaine Fourrier, this displays its terroir as much as the fruit-focused house style. Intense and structured, this is has flavours of sloe and blueberry, saline, oyster shell-like minerality, serious tannins and a sweet, but firm finish. Needs time.HK$36,925.00 -

The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St Jacques has a very succinct bouquet, very pure with blood orange-infused, mineral-rich red berry fruit that just shimmers with energy. The palate is very well balanced with filigree tannin, extremely detailed, precise and focused, fanning out wonderfully with fabulous intensity and sophistication. Oh yes! This hits the spot and is surely one of the best articulations of this fantabulous vineyard in 2014.HK$19,325.00 -
