Medium red. Fresh, minerally aromas of blackberry, dark plum, licorice and bitter chocolate. At once creamy and gripping in the mouth, with a liqueur-like ripeness nicely buffered by mineral energy. Conveys a lighter touch than most of these 2009s. The long finish shows fine-grained tannins. Really spreads out on the end to saturate the palate.
