Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (93-95)
(5 Star Wine) Fresh purple of medium depth. Much the liveliest bouquet with its concentration of raspberries, very complete and absolutely delicious. The finish continues gorgeously, this will make a beautiful bottle with a little patience. This Clos des Ursules shows the classic peacock’s fantail of aromatics.HK$4,205.00 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (93-95)
5 Star Wine. An even ruby purple. This is very complete, the fruit covering the palate effortlessly, the acid and tannin structure perfectly balanced and a particularly long aftertaste with a suggestion of blood orange. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted Oct 2024.HK$3,820.00 -
Vinous (90)
Good medium red with a faint amber tinge. Less fruit and more soil and game on the nose than the '97. Dense and sappy in the mouth, showing good plummy lift but also an edgy quality to its fruit component. Can't match the '97 or '99 for dimension but then this wine is rather tight and ungiving. Still, it appears to possess the tension and verve to continue to evolve positively. Finishes with tannins that dust the front teeth. Barnier says his colleagues at Jadot are not yet drinking their top '96 reds, but I wonder if this wine will ever truly blossom in bottle. Saline but not particularly sweet or rich, in the style of many wines from this vintage.HK$13,730.00 -
Wine Spectator (93)
This red is solidly structured and packed with fruit. Black cherry and wild blackberry notes are beginning to struggle against the dense tannins as this appears to be shutting down. There's a core of pure fruit, and it has vibrancy and energy. The finish goes on and on. Best from 2015 through 2035. 100 cases imported. -BSHK$9,460.00 -
Vinous (91)
The 2017 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru has an attractive, wild strawberry, orange blossom and pomegranate bouquet, pure and charming and quite Chambolle-like in style. The palate is fleshy on the entry, delivering fine grip and decent red fruit laced with white pepper and graphite, but it tapers toward the finish, refusing to "kick on" and leaving you wanting more. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting.HK$4,540.00 -
Vinous (94-96)
The 2018 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru has a very composed, detailed bouquet of blackberry, wild strawberry and pressed rose petal aromas, the most elegant of the three Cortons 2018s from Jadot. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannins and wonderful acidity. Very harmonious, with an almost luxurious but compelling finish. Superb.HK$4,775.00 -
Wine Advocate (93-95)
The 2019 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is excellent, unwinding in the glass with notes of cherries, plums, orange rind, dark chocolate, sweet spices and toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, it's deep and concentrated, with broad shoulders and rich, powdery structuring tannins. As usual, this is a fine proposition for the medium- to long-haul.HK$4,190.00 -
Tim Atkin MW (95)
Beautifully concentrated, this even has a bit of baby fat on it now. That's just fine as that provides a landing pad for the tangy tannins and racy acidity in this cuv e. The vines sit in iron-rich soils which give a slightly burly edge to the mouthfeel, despite the lush ripeness. For those preferring richer Pinot styles, this will show well now. For those seeking more finesse and multi-dimensional aromatic development, give this five years or so. 2023-38HK$4,380.00 -
Jancis Robinson (16++)
Cask sample. Sweet, slightly gamey nose. Lighter than the usual grand cru with quite marked acidity. It’s even a little bitter on the end. Not showing beautifully at this early stage. Chewy and without quite enough fruit weight to compensate.HK$4,475.00 -
(6x75cl) 2022Vinous - Neal Martin (93-95)
The 2022 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru has a tightly wound bouquet with dark plum, raspberry coulis, incense and light sous-bois scents. It takes quite a few swirls of the glass to get the aromas going. The palate is medium-bodied with a structured, assertive opening. The tannins are slightly chalky, lending this Corton-Pougets edginess/nerve. Fine mineralité towards the finish yet tightly wound and almost curmudgeonly in its nascent state, this Grand Cru will demand long-term aginHK$5,515.00 -
(6x75cl) 2023Vinous - Neal Martin (93-95)
Taken from a foudre rather than cask, the 2023 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru has an enticing bouquet with wonderfully defined red berry fruit, hints of tobacco and forest floor, delivering the complexity you'd expect from arguably Jadot's strongest red cuvée in the Côte de Beaune. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. Displaying exquisite balance and poise with plenty of nascent energy and a sustained, lightly spiced finish, this 2023 is up to the task of following the impressive 2022. Superb.HK$5,590.00 -

Vinous - Neal Martin (91-93)
The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Baudes 1er Cru shakes off a little reduction to reveal more black fruit compared to the Feusselottes, broodier and distinctly marine-influenced. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of licorice on the entry and a long, sweet finish. There is some oak here to be subsumed, but I like the weight and density in the mouth. Give it three or four years in bottle to absorb the wood.HK$5,115.00 -
HK$4,610.00 -
Vinous (96-99)
Healthy dark red. Knockout pungent aromas and flavors of pomegranate, red raspberry, blood orange and high-pitched spices, with the 33% whole-cluster treatment contributing an element of peppery lift. Boasts a nobly fine-grained texture but it's hard to describe this wine as silky owing to its almost painful penetration on the palate. Great éclat and precision here. Finishes with incredible tactile breadth and cut, the wine's rising, palate-saturating flavors of red berries, spices, flowers and minerals blowing past its firm but utterly refined tannins. This dazzling Musigny already displays incredibly heady, complex perfume but will need a decade or more to approach its apogee in bottle.HK$30,415.00 -

Vinous (91-93)
The 2020 Beaune Les Theurons 1er Cru has a much more introverted bouquet compared to the Grèves, with an attractive marine element, hints of kelp and shucked oyster shell percolating through the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine line of acidity, lightly spiced with a detailed and quite peppery finish. Excellent.HK$2,420.00 -
Jancis Robinson (17)
Cask sample. Pale garnet. Slightly smudgy nose. Still quite chewy with fine tannins and marked but not excessive acidity. Needs time but should be a vigorous pleasurable drink eventually.HK$2,430.00 -
Vinous (90)
Bright, moderately saturated medium red. Pure rose petal lift to the aromas of raspberry, menthol and spices. Rather plush and smooth in the context of the year but with surprising inner-mouth lift and smoky minerality to energize its red fruit and spice flavors. This fine-grained, savory, youthful wine finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and sneaky length and lift.HK$3,830.00 -
Jancis Robinson (17)
Cask sample. Weak rim on mid crimson. Nervy Chambolle nose with some ethereal quality. And then an extremely sweet palate. Solidly expressive with flattering fruit and a really very stunning nose. This could be a star.HK$6,795.00 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (90-92)
Fine deep crimson colour, the thicker style of a Morey-side Chambolle, both on the nose and the palate. Quite firm tannins, a fair acidity and a mixed dark fruit which returns behind. Sound, though some other wines offer more joy. Tasted: November 2021HK$5,185.00 -
Vinous (91-93)
The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Les Baudes 1er Cru has a composed bouquet with brambly red fruit, orange rind, sous-bois and light tobacco scents. It's refined and focused. The palate is very well balanced with a welcome edginess on the entry. Quite a nervy Chambolle, and I appreciate that. Plenty of mineralité comes through on the finish. This is very enticing.HK$5,990.00 -
(3x75cl) 2023Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (90-92)
A fresh and attractive lighter ruby, with modest fragrance, but a pleasing light cherry/strawberry fruit on the palate. Some elegance with a clarity of structure. Drink from 2030-2035. Tasted Oct 2024.HK$2,435 - HK$2,975

Vinous (93-95)
The 2018 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru has a cohesive, focused bouquet of intense red currant, wild strawberry and crushed stone aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity and slightly angular tannins that will be softened with time. I appreciate the energy and backbone of this Grand Cru. Excellent.HK$9,195.00 -
Wine Advocate (94-96)
One of the highlights of the portfolio is the 2018 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru (Domaine Gagey), a lovely wine that bursts with aromas of rose petals, deep red fruits, sweet soil tones, raw cocoa and cinnamon. On the palate, it's full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, with lively acids, considerable concentration and an ample endowment of fine-grained tannin. This will require and reward patience.HK$10,750.00 -
Vinous (95-97)
The 2019 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru demonstrates a little more amplitude than the Clos de la Roche because of the one-third stem addition. It is exquisitely defined, offering precise black fruit laced with melted tar and graphite notes, and wonderful focus. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins framing the judiciously spiced black fruit that segues into a very harmonious, grippy finish. This is one of Jadot’s best cuvées this vintage.HK$14,505.00 -
