Vinous - Neal Martin (91)The 2017 du Glana has a well defined and focused bouquet with blackberry, cedar and light tobacco aromas. There is elegance and refinement here. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity with a pinch of black pepper towards the finish. Whilst not the most high profile Saint-Julien property, this du Glana is impressive and might represent the "insiders’ choice". |

Vinous - Antonio Galloni (89-91)The 2019 du Glana is a bold, juicy Saint-Julien. Inky dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, spice, leather and menthol flesh out in an exotic, flashy Saint-Julien. Although Glana is quite racy in style, it retains a mid-weight sense of structure that is hugely appealing. Readers will find a decidedly forward style. |

Vinous - Neal Martin (89-91)The 2021 Château du Glana has a pretty, understated bouquet of cedar-infused black fruit, hints of cigar humidor emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, quite elegant and fresh, with more red fruit percolating though on the harmonious finish. This is a well-crafted Saint-Julien. |

Bordeaux | 10 | 85-87 (VN (NM)) | HK$1,205.00
Vinous - Neal Martin (85-87)The 2018 du Moulin Rouge fails to really lift off from the nose, coming across rather static compared to some of its peers. The palate is better, offering crisp black fruit, good acidity and a well-defined finish; in fact, it is so appealing that it makes the aromatics even more disappointing. I will seek to re-taste this once in bottle. |

Vinous - Neal Martin (89-91)The 2019 du Retout is inky purple in colour. The bouquet is clean and pure with blackberry tinged with graphite and black truffle, all nicely delineated and growing in intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with quite sharp tannins, compact and maybe leaner than some of its peers, though with satisfying persistence on the pencil lead infused finish. Fine. |

Bordeaux | 20 | 88-90 (VN (AG)) | HK$1,140.00
Vinous - Antonio Galloni (88-90)The 2020 Retout is a potent, brooding Haut-Médoc. Inky dark fruit, gravel, spice, chocolate and lavender lend quite a bit of aromatic complexity. Unctuous and deep, the Retout has quite a bit to offer, starting with its distinctive personality. |

Vinous - Neal Martin (90-92)The 2021 Château du Retout is quite backward on the nose, yet well-defined and clean, featuring brambly black fruit laced with cedar. The palate is medium-bodied with a bright entry, fine acidity, grainy tannins and pretty blackberry and graphite notes on the finish. Bravo. |

Wine Advocate (91-93)The 2016 Le Boscq, owned by Vignobles Dourthe, is a blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot and was picked 29 September until 20 October. This represents a move towards Cabernet Sauvignon and away from Merlot in the final blend. It has a very ripe, opulent bouquet that does not quite convey its terroir with the same aplomb as say, the Phelan-Ségur. It translates more of the winemaking than the terroir. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, crisp acidity and quite an elegant finish. It is in the second half of this wine that the quality of the vintage shows through. Hopefully the aromatics will gain more composure and it will live up to the finish it currently displays. One to watch. |
