Indulge in an exquisite vinous journey with the Dame de Bouard 2021, the epitome of elegance born out of the storied vineyards of Bordeaux in France. Meticulously crafted by the notable de Bouard family, inheritors of the world-renowned Château Angelus, this wine is a testament to their unyielding dedication to quality and grandeur.
Each sip reveals the distinct terroir differentiation, capturing the perfect essence of its Merlot and Cabernet Franc blend. The Dame de Bouard 2021 is traditionally vinified, with its grapes harvested manually, followed by a meticulous triple sorting process before being aged in French oak barrels. This painstaking process lends it an incomparable balance, a deep ruby hue, and a fresh taste profile with delicate tannins – a mesmerising dance of blackcurrant, raspberry, and floral notes punctuated by an elegant, polished finish. Truly, Dame de Bouard 2021 is the embodiment of French winemaking mastery embraced by wine connoisseurs globally.

The 2021 Dassault is very, very good. Dark and ample, the 2021 possesses terrific depth and fine balance at this stage. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, licorice, mint, spice, tobacco and mocha are nicely pushed forward. This succulent yet mid-weight Saint-Émilion has a ton to offer.HK$2,250.00 -

The 2021 Blanc is turning out beautifully, evoking aromas of mint, spices, peach, lemon oil and spring flowers. Medium to full-bodied and perfectly balanced, it’s tense and fleshy, crystalline and seamless, with a fresh, saline and pure finish. It feels reassuringly persistent and could age well over the next two decades. This outstanding wine is crafted from 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon.HK$5,775.00 -

The 2021 de Pressac is one the under the radar gems in Saint-Émilion. Bright red/purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender, spice, mocha and new leather are all kicked up in a Saint-Émilion that balances fruit richness with energy. The 2021 is naturally not as deep or opulent as some recent vintages, but it nevertheless has plenty of complexity and character, not to mention the stylish personality that makes it one of the most distinctive wines in all of Bordeaux. Tasted three times.HK$3,125.00 -

I loved the 2021 Château Destieux, a classy, medium-bodied, impressive 2021 that has ample darker berry fruits, some classy background oak, ripe tannins, and textbook Saint-Emilion notes of graphite, crushed stone, and leafy herbs. It's beautiful today yet should benefit from just a few years of bottle age.HK$4,360.00 -

The 2021 Deyrem Valentin contains more Cabernet this year at 75% of the blend. This really shows on the nose that is dark in fruit with lifted graphite and cedar aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, quite fresh, slightly chalky in texture, maybe missing just a little sensuality on the finish. It needs three years to fully absorb the oak. But there is a citrus element to this Margaux that I like, with satisfying length.HK$1,520.00 -

The 2021 Ducru-Beaucaillou captures all the potential it showed from barrel. A delicate, understated wine, the 2021 impresses above all else with its finesse. All the elements are impeccably balanced throughout. Time in the glass brings out the wine's inner sweetness and gorgeous perfume. The balance with oak, at times a challenge here, is also flawless. With lower alcohol and therefore also less extraction from oak than recent vintages, the 2021 is shaping up to be a modern-day classic. The blend is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot, the highest amount of Cabernet Sauvignon ever here. What a wine.HK$24,000.00 -
