Aromas of chocolate, sweet cherries, dried herbs, and a hint of tapenade jump from the glass of this medium-bodied, silky, soft, pretty Margaux. Enjoy it over the next 10-12 years.HK$3,285.00 -
Vinous - Antonio Galloni (90)
The 2005 du Tertre is a bold, savory wine, as it so often is. Game, scorched earth, licorice, tobacco and dried herbs give this dark, virile Margaux much of its distinctive personality. The 2005 has aged well. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years, before the fruit fully fades, even though there is enough density to allow for aging beyond that. Structurally, du Tertre is a bit lighter than most Margaux in 2005.HK$5,265.00 -

A beautifully crafted wine that has both richness and sweetness. It brings together the fresh character of 2006 with more powerful elements, such as new wood and spice, enveloped plushly with ripe fruit. The tannins have a dark element, but fit well with the sweet fruit. All in all, a delicious wine that also has aging potential.HK$3,990.00 -

The wood that dominated during the futures tastings in 2008 has calmed down, merging more easily into the rich fruits. There is an attractive smoky character, focused berry flavors and delicious spice. It should age well over 3-5 years.HK$2,905.00 -

Reserved, with finely carved architecture, captures Margaux appellation typicity, starting to open up but not fully in its drinking window yet, has plenty of time ahead. Feathered hedgerow brambled strawberry and blackberry fruits, with tighter kick of cassis and bitter black chocolate coming in through the mid palate. Good stuff. (12x75cl) 2012Wine Advocate (91)
This 125-acre vineyard is beautifully situated in the southern sector of the appellation of Margaux. Dense ruby/purple, with sweet cassis fruit, Du Tertre’s 2012 has a perfumed, elegant, lush, velvety-textured mouthfeel and impressive purity and depth. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.HK$2,810.00 -
Vinous - Ian D'Agata (87-90)
Medium ruby-red. Expressive aromas of plum, raspberry, aromatic herbs and coffee show a pungent leafy quality. Then much riper in the mouth, with silky, intense wild berry flavors displaying noteworthy sweetness and precision. Offers excellent fruit intensity and volume for the year. Persistent red berry nuances and substantial, slightly hard tannins coat the palate at the back.HK$3,155.00 -
James Suckling (93)
A little bit shy on the nose, but the balance of good concentration and powdery tannins creates a creamy impression that extends through the long finish — one that’s already smooth enough to give a lot of pleasure. Try drinking in 2020.HK$1,810.00 -
James Suckling (94-95)
A wine with definition and refinement. Hints of tobacco and chocolate. Full body, super fine and flavorful. Juicy and savory. The walnut and spice on the end is gorgeous.HK$4,535.00 -

Made by the same team as Giscours, this is a fine wine. Its rich structure combines with acidity and dense, plummy fruit to give a wine that charms now but is sure to age well.HK$2,190.00 -

The 2017 du Tertre is a very pretty wine. Succulent red cherry, dried flowers, mint, blood orange and spice notes meld together in a pliant, mid-weight Margaux that will drink well right out of the gate. This is an especially elegant vintage for a property that often leans towards a wilder style. The 2017 is one of the prettiest recent Tertres I can remember tasting.HK$3,590.00 -
