I don't find the Oriental spice character this wine typically demonstrates in the early going, but there's no denying this wine's density and powerful fruit. There is tannin present, and enough acidity but the fruit covers them both and extends to a remarkable finish. Super sensual and really finely balanced at the same time. Drink from 2030-2038. The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a simple redcurrant and cranberry scented bouquet that just needs a little more flesh. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins. This does not really have the roundness of a Chambolle and just feels abrupt on the finish. Maybe just enduring a difficult phase?HK$5,035.00
