Established in 1900 by Frenchman Georges de Latour (namesake of the flagship cuvée), Beaulieu Vineyard is one of the great Napa Valley wineries of the 20th century. Across the range there is greatness at every level; the result of a wealth of experience spanning back over a century. Among the great names to make their mark on Beaulieu was the 'Godfather of Napa', Andre Tchelistcheff, chief winemaker instrumental in growing the wineries international acclaim as a source of exceptional Napa Cabernet. The legendary Tchelistcheff tutored Robert Mondavi among countless other Californian winemakers, helping to put American wine on the map. Today, the estate's acclaim is thanks to leading oenologist consultant Michel Rolland and new chief winemaker Trevor Durling.
