Croix de Labrie
Chateau Croix de Labrie is one of the smallest Grand Cru estates in St. Emilion. One of the last remaining Garage wines from the 1990s (meaning the production is small enough to be aged in the owner’s garage). Michel Rolland and Jean Luc Thunevin are the consultants. The wine is lush, seductive, open and drinks well young.

Almost all Merlot brought up in new barrels, it offers a beautiful bouquet of red and black currants, spicy oak, dried herbs, and flowers, with a beautiful loamy earth and chalky minerality emerging with time in the glass. With remarkable purity and finesse, it's full-bodied, has a great mid-palate, silky tannins, and a great finish.
