Three casks from three different spots. Slightly cloudy cherry red. Really rich and solid. From a very good producer (a long-term proposition) and made in the domaine philosophy. Lots of tannin on the end. Very energetic. Very slightly bitter on the end.HK$17,210.00 -
Vinous (93-95)
The 2018 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a decadent bouquet of red cherry and cranberry aromas, touches of pain d’épices and a hint of menthol emerging with time. But somehow it manages to retain control. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, slightly chalky tannins, good depth and a gentle grip toward the focused finish. This should age extremely well.HK$20,075.00 -

Vinous (95)
The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Saint-Jacques Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet of mixed red and black fruit and a faint touch of tomato vine. It becomes more floral with aeration. The palate has fine structure, and there’s some clever stem addition apparent here, lending this Clos Saint-Jacques a subtle leafy character. Focused with fine weight toward the finish, this is very persistent and quite saline on the aftertaste. Reserved, but the pedigree is undeniable. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting.HK$28,230.00 -
Vinous (93-95)
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has a very precise bouquet, taut and fresh, wonderfully focused with black cherries, crushed strawberry and a touch of blood orange. The palate is medium-bodied with a silky smooth texture, filigree tannins that frame the slightly confit-like black fruit, leading to a slightly candied finish. This CSJ will need several years to really meld together in bottle.HK$43,115.00 -

The 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Cherbaudes is excellent, unfurling in the glass with a complex bouquet of dark chocolate, cassis, wild berries and plums. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a layered core of crunchy fruit, fine structuring tannins and a long, sapid finish. While this is very elegant in style this year, it has more than enough substance to evolve in bottle for two decades or more.HK$14,915.00 -
Vinous (92-94)
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Cherbaudes 1er Cru has an almost Morey-like personality on the nose: dark berry fruit, granitic scents, touches of forest floor and wild mushroom. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, clean and crisp, not a powerful Gevrey-Chambertin, but precise and quite pixelated towards the finish. Give this 4-6 years in bottle.HK$15,510.00 -
Vinous (91-93)
Good bright-medium red. Tight, dark aromas of black fruits and licorice pastille lifted by a whiff of cranberry. Ripe and broad, but with terrific inner-mouth floral lift and a rocky pungency. Tannins are fully ripe and fine-grained. Offers a rather exhilarating--and uncommon--combination of cooler flavors and full phenolic ripeness. This wine comes from a very cool, east-facing site planted on rock, which had difficulty ripening its fruit prior to global warming. A tighter, more intellectual style than the Champeaux: Fourrier loves the Goulots with sushi, while he'd pair the Champeaux with a rib-eye steak.HK$13,590.00 -
Vinous (90-92)
The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Goulots 1er Cru has a very ripe bouquet that flirts with sur-maturité; hints of dates and fig can be glimpsed among the blue and red fruit. I would like to see more composure here. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and ripe, a little heady in style but retaining decent balance and freshness toward the finish. Not bad, although I have tasted better vintages in the past.HK$12,080.00 -

Vinous (91)
Medium red. Captivating aromas of cherry, raspberry, blueberry and minerals, lifted by a floral topnote. The palate offers excellent cut and precision to the almost Chambolle-like red berry flavors. At once juicy and filled in, this nicely balanced village wine finishes with noteworthy length.HK$9,170.00 -
Vinous (91)
Moderately saturated medium red. Complex nose melds strawberry, flowers, game and mocha. Deeper than the Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon; brisk, salty and concentrated, offering considerable personality and sex appeal. This very sappy village wine shows excellent clarity and length, finishing with harmonious tannins.HK$8,320.00 -
Wine Advocate (88-90)
Fourrier's 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon wafts from the glass with aromas of plums, dark chocolate and candied peel, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent palate that's open-knit and giving but nicely concentrated. It will offer a broad drinking window.HK$10,020.00 -

Vinous (89-92)
Bright, moderately saturated medium red. Rather wild scents of crushed cherry stomp, flowers, medicinal herbs and minerals. Offers a lovely fine-grained texture and sweetness of fruit but still in a juicy style for all its ripeness. Very good for this cuvée but there are just three barrels of this juice from 0.34 hectare--or not much above 20 hectoliters per hectare. Savory and long on the aftertaste, with plenty of tannic support.HK$12,355.00 -
Vinous (90-92)
The 2018 Vougeot Les Petits Vougeot 1er Cru has a pretty, potpourri-tinged red and black cherry bouquet that is very Vosne-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins, plenty of raspberry confit and crushed strawberry fruit laced with dark chocolate toward the grippy finish. Lovely texture here, and impressive length. This needs three to five years in bottle.HK$12,355.00 -

Vinous (94-96)
The 2017 Chambertin Grand Cru has a charming, quite regal bouquet with layers of crushed strawberry, raspberry and crushed iris aromas that blossom with aeration. The palate is very refined, beautifully focused with a silver bead of acidity. There is a sorbet-like freshness from start to finish, a gentle crescendo of flavours towards the blackberry, raspberry and orange zest finish that lingers persistently in the mouth. Superb.HK$31,385.00 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (94-97)
Medium deep red purple with a little bit of spice. Starts gently then it really swells on the palate. All is at the back of the palate with a really classy finish, perfect tension, a very elegant Chambertin.HK$32,150.00 -
Vinous (92-94)
The 2017 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru has an engaging nose with brambly red berry fruit, pressed rose petals, orange essence and light marmalade aromas. The palate is vivacious and full of energy. There is great tension here, citrus-fresh with orange rind and quince notes infusing the red fruit towards the finish, though it does not possess quite the length of the Mazoyères-Chambertin. Still, this has a lot of potential.HK$20,525.00 -
Vinous (94-96)
The 2018 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru has an outstanding bouquet of crushed iris and incense aromas filtering through mineral-rich black fruit. Such vibrancy! The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, very good acidity and a wonderfully focused finish that is top-drawer. Superb.HK$18,750.00 -
