About Massolino
Established in 1896 and now run by the fourth generation of the family, Massolino is undoubtedly one of the great estates in Barolo. Their vineyards have dynamic, chalky soils and sit at lofty altitudes of 320-360 metres, imparting exceptional concentration and complexity to the wines. With vines up to 60 years old, the Massolino family principally grows fruit of the finest quality in the commune of Serralunga d’Alba.

I would describe it as razor-sharp. This adds to a general sense of fine polish and tightness. I can't get enough and I can't wait to see where it goes 10 or 20 years from now.
