Jeb Dunnuck (92+)One of the more structured wines in the vintage is the 2015 Chateau Rauzan-Gassies. Deep ruby/purple colored with a fabulous bouquet of currants, charcoal, black cherries and crushed rocks, it is a full-bodied, incredibly pure, concentrated Margaux that has integrated tannin and a focused, chiseled feel. Forget bottles for 5-6 years and it should reward for upwards of two decades.

Vinous - Antonio Galloni (90+)The 2017 Rauzan Gassies is expressive and full of energy, but also done in a somewhat compact style. Dried cherry, iron, mint, white pepper, grilled herbs, cedar and tobacco come together in the glass. I very much like the wine's energy, even if the contours are a bit austere today. The 2017 could turn out to be even better than this note suggests if the tannin soften.

Jancis Robinson (16.5)Crimson with a pink rim. Lots of freshness on a lifted nose. Solid rendition with enough fruit for the acidity even if without much distinction or character. No one would be disappointed by this wine. Tannins are ripe enough and not too dominant. A very good effort for this château.
