Wine Enthusiast (94)Structured and dense, the wine has bold blackberry fruits and tannins like velvet. It is full-bodied with great acidity as well as generous fruitiness. One of the best from this estate. |

Bordeaux | 100 | 88 (VN (NM)) | HK$1,090.00
Vinous - Neal Martin (88)The 2017 Bouscaut does not quite reveal the same precision and detail on the nose as some of its peers, though it does improve with aeration showing humidor and espresso. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins and supple in texture. An understated, pliant finish renders this quite approachable. Drink over the next 5 to 7 years. |

Wine Advocate (89-91)Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Bouscaut gives up scents of redcurrant jelly, plum preserves and cassis with hints of pencil shavings, fragrant earth and bouquet garni. Medium to full-bodied, it has loads of herb-laced black fruits and approachable, rounded tannins, with a lively lift to the finish. |

James Suckling (93-94)Really impressive with blackberry, chocolate and black-olive aromas and flavors. Imposing richness and softness to this with well-defined tannins. |

Jeb Dunnuck (92-94)I loved the 2020 Château Bouscaut. It has an incredible nose of pure cassis and black raspberries interwoven with notes of violets, tobacco, sous bois, and ample spicy background oak. Just a classic Graves on the palate, with medium to full-bodied richness, lots of classic minerality, scorched earth nuances, ripe tannins, and a great finish, it’s going to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and keep for 15-20 years or more. I love the balance, and this is unquestionably a wine well worth seeking out. |

Bordeaux | 100 | 16.5 (JR) | HK$1,225.00
Jancis Robinson (16.5)Dark, glowing crimson. Quite a rich, ripe nose. Suave palate with sufficient fruit (I wonder why their Merlot did so well?) and yet some bordeaux rigidity. Bone dry! Classic build that will always need food but the structure is fine. It’s just a little lacking density. |

Bordeaux | 10 | 92-93 (JS) | HK$1,140.00
James Suckling (92-93)A firm and tight St.-Emilion with a firm-tannin frame. Dark currants, blackberries, crushed stones and some tobacco. Mineral and tight for now. |

Bordeaux | 20 | 92 (JD) | HK$1,605.00
Jeb Dunnuck (92)Red and black fruits, spicy wood, tobacco, and hints of chocolate all emerge from the 2022 Château Boutisse, a charming, medium to full-bodied, plush, sexy Saint-Emilion. It's already hard to resist, yet this will drink nicely over the coming 15 years or more if well stored. The blend is 92% Merlot, 3% each of Cabernet Franc and Carménère, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, all aged 16 months in 30% new barrels. |

Wine Spectator (92-94)Lots of blackberry, spice, tar and licorice. Full-bodied, thick and rich. This is very dense. Pure fruit. Best ever from here. Score range: 92-94 |

Bordeaux | 6 | 93 (VN (NM)) | HK$2,555.00
Vinous - Neal Martin (93)The 2015 Boyd-Cantenac offers attractive raspberry and wild strawberry on the nose, the oak nicely integrated and hints of rose petal emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and punchy red berry fruit laced with brown spices and graphite, leading to a cohesive finish with good density and length. One of the hidden gems from the appellation this year. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting. |

Bordeaux | 26 | 91 (VN (NM)) | HK$4,170.00
Vinous - Neal Martin (91)The 2017 Boyd-Cantenac is noticeably deep in colour. It has a very intense bouquet with baked black cherries mixed with iodine and light violet aromas, becoming more floral with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity, but clearly much more backward than its peers with a strong Pauillac-inspired, graphite finish. A really interesting Margaux that I am fascinated to see evolve. |

Wine Advocate (89-91)The deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Boyd-Cantenac features smoked meats, dried herbs and savory aromas over baked berries and cassis with a pencil lead hint. The palate is full-bodied with a soft texture and bags of fruit and herb sparks, finishing warm. |
