Vinous (92-94)The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has an intense, powerful bouquet of red and black fruit and undergrowth; touches of menthol develop with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, good structure and matière, and saline on the midpalate, leading to a grippy, quite assertive finish. Good aging potential. |

Vinous (92-95)The 2015 Corton La Vigne au Saint Grand Cru exudes freshness and vivacity. Hints of orange peel, cranberry and white pepper from the whole clusters (45%) add a striking aromatic upper register. This is another wine with a super-appealing push and pull between ripeness of fruit and salivating acidity. Quite frankly, in a blind tasting, this would be very hard to peg as wine from a warm vintage. - Antonio Galloni |

Burghound (94)The ripe and ultra-fresh aromas are from the darker side of the fruit spectrum while including plenty of spice, warm earth, menthol and plenty of sauvage character. There is both fine detail and a beguiling texture to the equally broad-shouldered and even more mineral-inflected flavors that possess even better complexity on the balanced and hugely long finish. Unusually, this appears to be just a bit less structured than the Bressandes and should also be approachable on the younger side if that's your preference. |

James Suckling (96)The super fresh, sour-cherry nose leads you into a very concentrated and focused red with a lot of mineral and graphite character. The tannins are a shade firmer than in the other Grand Crus from Faiveley, but it was always that way. Deep, dark and cool finish that goes on and on. Better from 2023. |

Clearly a richer, more powerful Gevrey Chambertin expression. Without necessarily the elegance of the Corbeau it is still well built and balanced a fine, muscular Gevrey-Chambertin. A wine of remarkable style and purity with excellent concentration and intensity.

Jancis Robinson (17.5)Danish pastries and roasted plums on the nose, very sweet and spicy. Fleshy and opulent on the palate, with great intensity of fruit. The tannins build and offer depth, structure and savour. Long and expansive on the finish. |

Wine Spectator (92)Rich and rangy, with cherry and spice flavors filling the broad profile. Ample acidity and tannins shore this up, leading to a slightly compact finish. Fine length. |

Burghound (91)A ripe yet agreeably elegant, pure and airy nose consists of dark currant, spice, lavender, earth and a pretty range of floral nuances. The equally pure mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors possess a really lovely sense of underlying tension while delivering fine persistence on the sappy, balanced and solidly complex finish. This youthfully austere effort is shaped by similar but denser fine-grained tannins while offering better depth. This too is lovely and well-worth checking out. |

Discover the purest expression of wine in the Philippe Pacalet Corton Grand Cru Bressandes 2020. Produced in Beaune, France by revered natural wine producer Philippe Pacalet, this highly rated Grand Cru is a classic Burgundian delight. Pacalet provides his own unique interpretation of the terroir; utilising traditional viticulture techniques, the grapes are grown without pesticides and handpicked to ensure the ultimate quality. The 2020 vintage promises great complexity with enticing red fruit notes, firm tannins and a bright acidity that lingers through a long and creamy finish. With its remarkable intricacy and sophistication, the Philippe Pacalet Corton Grand Cru Bressandes 2020 will enhance any experienced cellar.
