Vinous (88-90)
Good deep red. Aromas of black cherry, redcurrant, minerals and nutty oak. A step up in stuffing and sweetness from the Allots, showing more mid-palate texture and depth. Here the substantial dusty tannins hit the palate later, as there's more buffering material.HK$71,935.00 -
Vinous (95)
The 2007 Nuits Saint Georges Aux Lavières from Leroy is a wine of pure texture. Deep, rich and beautifully layered, the 2007 impresses for its depth and pure silkiness. Spice and tobacco nuances add complexity on the sensual, inviting finish.HK$26,095.00 -
Wine Advocate (95)
The 2011 Nuits-St-Georges Aux Lavieres has a nose born of the sky more than the earth: airy, lifted and feminine. Touches of cold limestone emerge with time that are entrancing. The palate is vibrant and vital on the entry with a silver thread of acidity, a gradual build in the mouth with shimmering dark cherry and bergamot, then a gentle grip on the tense and teasing Vosne-like finish. Superb.HK$28,895.00 -
Wine Advocate (90-92)
There is something slightly more confit on the nose of the 2013 Nuits Saint Georges Les Lavieres compared to the Aux Allot. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine minerality and precision, structured and aloof on the end but extremely well focused. Give this 2 or 3 years after bottling.HK$28,755.00 -
Vinous (93)
Distinct soil and mineral inflections give the Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Lavières much of its distinctive personality. A touch austere and compact today, the Lavières possesses superb energy that drives the red stone fruit, graphite, smoke and scorched earth flavors. There is more than enough freshness and verve to support many years of fine drinking.HK$29,760.00 -

Vinous (92)
Healthy full red. Slightly high-toned aromas of raspberry, coffee and minerals, plus a positive vegetal nuance that reminded me of the young 2015. Creamy-sweet and highly concentrated, showing a lovely balance of sucrosité and acidity. Quite silky and stylish, especially for Nuits-Saint-Georges. The tannins are more successfully integrated today than those of the Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles, which will allow this rather powerful wine to give pleasure earlier. Impressively long on the aftertaste.HK$5,725.00 -
Vinous (92-94)
The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru sees no new oak, like most of Louis Boillot’s other Premier Crus. The tightly wound nose features blackberry, wild hedgerow and chalky, petrichor notes in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins that frame the lightly spiced red fruit and just a hint of black pepper and curry leaf on the persistent finish. Superb.HK$9,340.00 -
Vinous (91+)
Medium red. Brooding aromas of dark fruits, mint and menthol. Rich and deep on the palate, with spicy red fruit flavors lifted by a note of orange peel. Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and juicy persistence.HK$6,630.00 -
Vinous (90+)
Medium red. Subdued but pure aromas of blueberry, dark cherry and spicy oak. Juicy, tight and intense, with red berry and chocolate flavors accented by pepper and herbs. Offers attractive flesh and sweetness, finishing with a slightly herbal aspect along with oak and menthol notes. This should evolve slowly.HK$5,065.00 -
James Suckling (93)
Crushed strawberries and hints of raspberries as well as citrus on the nose follow through to a medium to full body, salty undertones and a stoney finish. Intense and very spicy. Drink in 2020 but already delicious.HK$3,075.00 -
Vinous (91+)
Good medium red. More complex and vibrant on the nose than the village wines I tasted from the Côte de Nuits, offering musky scents of black raspberry, licorice, menthol and violet. Then surprisingly fine-grained and sweet in the middle palate if still a bit youthfully compressed, communicating an impression of medicinal reserve to its rich dark fruit, spice and violet flavors. Way longer than the village wines, with more refined tannins and subtle floral lift. This lively midweight is showing the dark fruit side of the vintage. I may be underrating it today.HK$7,050.00 -
Vinous (90-92)
The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Boudots 1er Cru has a conspicuous fish scale scent on the nose that complements the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, sappy red fruit, lightly spiced with a sinewy finish that just about manages to retain an essence of finesse. This could evolve nicely in bottle.HK$5,225.00 -
Vinous (89-91)
The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Boudots 1er Cru is clearly a step up on the nose compared to the Village Cru, with much more complexity and terroir expression. It displays a mélange of red and black fruit, sous-bois and hints of clove. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and dark cherry fruit, mulberry and a dash of white pepper. It maybe just misses the complexity of the 2020 on the finish. It should give at least a decade of pleasure.HK$6,210.00 -
Vinous (90-92)
Medium red. Less fruity and more medicinal on the nose than the Vaucrains, offering complex scents of dark raspberry, dried flowers, mocha and earth. Then plush, silky and fine-grained on the palate, offering lovely floral lift to its raspberry fruit. The firm tannins turn a touch dry with air. (This cuvée is not vinified by Jadot.)HK$3,575.00 -
Vinous (92-94)
The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru has a classy bouquet of vibrant red berry fruit, sous-bois and brown spice aromas that gain intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. A fine-boned, focused Les Saint-Georges with admirable precision and mineralité on the finish. This is a step up from the Les Vaucrains. Excellent.HK$6,990.00 -
Reflecting the distinctive viticulture of Burgundy's Nuits-Saint-George appellation, the Lucien Boillot Nuits-Saint-George 1er Cru Pruliers 2018 is a testament to the focused craftsmanship of the Boillot family. This red wine, produced under the keen supervision of Pierre Boillot, harmonises the earthy depth of pinot noir—meticulously grown in Limestone-rich soil—with an alluring complexity nurtured through maturation in oak barrels. The Lucien Boillot estate, renowned for their biodynamic farming practices, ensure the nuances of the terroir shine through in this Premier Cru wine. The 2018 vintage unfurls vibrant red fruit and mushroom tones, beautifully offset by tannic depth and a graceful, long finish. As you savour the ethereal balance of this red, you'll discern why Lucien Boillot's wines are celebrated worldwide. The Lucien Boillot Nuits-Saint-George 1er Cru Pruliers 2018 is a stellar embodiment of Boillot’s dedication to authenticity and expressive winemaking.

Vinous (92-94)
(destemmed): Bright, full ruby. Deep, almost liqueur-like aromas of cassis and black cherry; there's something old school about this. Hugely concentrated and mouthfilling, with its very ripe flavors of cassis, blackberry, dark chocolate and violet complicated by saline minerality. Finishes dense, saline, floral and very long, with big but utterly smooth tannins that reach the incisors. This is a major mouthful of wine already but it will need time to lose some baby fat. With its slightly high-toned character and impression of fat, this wine struck me as rather 2015-like.HK$7,845.00 -
Burghound (92-94)
Notably ripe yet nicely fresh and even cool aromas of poached plum and dark berry fruit coulis are trimmed in hints of earth and the sauvage. The palate impression of the big-bodied and powerful flavors is one of contrasts as the mid-palate is actually nicely refined if dense whereas the wonderfully persistent finish is robust, muscular and borderline rustic, as well as exceptionally firm. Once again, I would recommend not touching a bottle for at least a decade and this beauty should repay almost two.HK$6,320.00 -
Vinous (86-88)
Medium ruby. Fruity aromas of black cherry, licorice and spice, with a note of menthol. Creamier and riper than the basic village bottling, with black fruit flavors and sweeter tannins.HK$14,325.00 -

Following strict biodynamic methodologies, the 2007 vintage has been matured in oak barrels for 15 months, establishing its silky elegance and profound bouquet. This wine reveals layered notes of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, and delicate spice, all framed by well-structured tannins and an exquisite mineral undertone – characteristic of the clay and limestone soil from which these venerable vines draw their strength.

Wine Advocate (92)
The 2008 Nuits-Saint-Georges Villages from Domaine Leroy is beginning to drink very well, bursting from the glass with a complex bouquet of cinnamon, blood orange, peony, cassis, blackberry and raw cocoa. On the palate, the wine is sappy, expansive and medium-full, with an ample mid-palate, fine-grained tannins and a penetrating, saline finish—weightless but intense. In this vintage Bize-Leroy opted to combine the Nuits lieux-dits that she usually bottles separately: Aux Allots, Aux Bas de Combe and Lavières.HK$30,905.00 -
