This carries to a full-bodied Châteauneuf du Pape revealing remarkable elegance and purity, ultra-fine tannins, perfect balance, and a great, great finish. I'm not sure it has the same level of grandeur as the 2019, but it’s not far off, and time will tell. The 2016 La Cabanne has a pure, exuberant bouquet of luscious Merlot fruit, red cherries and crushed strawberry laced with truffle and cedar. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and a fine line of acidity, and quite fresh toward the finish, leaving behind just a hint of spice on the aftertaste. This is a lighter style of Pomerol but very well crafted and satisfying.HK$1,810.00
