The wine is fermented in barrel without too much extraction and aged for a maximum of one year to keep the fresh aromas. Production is very small. Deep garnet-purple in color, it storms out of the glass with powerful notes of baked blackberries, stewed plums, and boysenberry preserves, plus wafts of Chinese five spice, dark chocolate, and candied violets.
